- The IT Asset Engineer plays a vital role in managing and optimizing the company’s IT assets, ensuring cost-effective and efficient use of technology resources.

Requirements:

- 2-6 years of experience in IT asset management and software licensing

- Familiarity with software asset management tools and methodologies

- License Compliance: Monitor software licenses to ensure compliance with vendor agreements, track license usage, and manage renewals.
- Asset Allocation: Allocate IT assets to users and departments based on need and ensure optimal utilization.
- Cost Control: Identify cost-saving opportunities and eliminate underutilized or redundant IT assets.
- Vendor Management: Build and maintain relationships with IT vendors and negotiate favorable contracts and pricing.
- Asset Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of IT assets, from procurement to disposal or recycling, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
- Policy Development: Develop and enforce IT asset management policies and procedures to standardize asset acquisition and usage.
