Job Description:

• We are looking for passionate Data Engineers, with ETL experience, who can assist in the process of maintaining all the relevant sources of data and ensuring that it is being stored properly.
• He/she is involved in developing the ETL processes and is involved in designing and preparing the codes that meet the program specifications.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate should have worked on end-to-end data warehousing / data lake and / or business intelligence solutions in the past using ETL technologies.
• The candidate should have the following skills sets:
• Strong experience in a BI/Data Warehouse environment with involvement in design, development, implementation, troubleshooting and support of ETL process.
• Experience in developing Data Marts, Data warehousing and Operational Data Store (ODS) on any of the databases or Hadoop environments.
• Should be having good experience with DWH concepts, and other DWH related terms.
• Experience in Performance Tuning and Query Optimization by Indexing, Partitioning and Denormalization.
• Should be well versed with migration strategies by manual and automated processes.
• Should have experience in supporting the environment team for all the migrations, and other activities.
• Extensive knowledge of business intelligence best practices, processes, and methodologies.
• Good to have programming experience in writing Complex Stored Procedures, Queries, Views, User Defined Functions, Cursors and Common Table Expressions using SQL or T-SQL.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication skills (both verbal and written), and ability to interact with and effectively address concerns.
• Excellent prioritization, time management, analytical, and organization skills – able to determine what needs to be done and gets it done.
• Team Foundation Server experience or any version control and scheduling tools
• Experience working in an Agile Environment is required
• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in data engineering space using above technologies with at least couple of project experience is mandatory

Responsibility:

• Data engineers need to implement data integration routines using ETL technology.
• The primary responsibility include:
• Involved in coding, testing, implementing, debugging and documenting the complex programs.
• Creating proper technical documentation in the work assignments.
• Understands the business needs and designs programs and systems that match the complex business requirements and records all the specifications that are involved in the development and coding process.
• Ensures that all the standard requirements are met and is involved in performing the technical analysis.
• Responsible for assisting the project manager by compiling information from the current systems, analyzing the program requirements and ensuring that it meets the specified time requirements.
• Resolves complex problems associated with the designed programs
