Job Description:
- US Consumer Services (USCS) is responsible for driving profitable growth of American Express US Consumer portfolio by acquiring outstanding new customers and deepening Card Member Engagement and Loyalty through developing differentiated products & partnerships and strengthening our membership services offerings across Travel, Dining, Lifestyle and Banking.

- The US Consumer Services organization is currently hiring for Analyst – New Data Innovation Analytics team within the US Consumer Analytics team who will drive the development of use cases to enable growth and competitive benchmarking leveraging bureau data, third party data and in-house modelling capabilities for the US Consumer portfolio.
Requirements:
- Post-Graduation/Graduation from a top tier college
- 0-1 years of experience in Data analytics
- Self-starter, ability to drive insights from data, provide action steps and drive results in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Creative thinker with ability to learn quickly and navigate through unstructured problems
- Ability to Integrate with Cross-Functional Business Partners Worldwide
- Good Programming skills are a plus
- Knowledge of SQL, Python is a plus
- Knowledge of MS Office – PowerPoint, Excel
Responsibility:
- Analyze our customer’s engagement on our cards vis-à-vis external cards by tracking and diagnosing Share of Wallet trends to identify pockets and drivers showing signs of disengagement.
- Enhance the Share of Wallet framework to enable holistic and accurate measurement of external Revenue leveraging external data.
- Drive the development of insights on generational relevance to identify changing customer preferences and behaviors and collaborate with partners to help optimize our profitability frameworks.
- Partner with internal and external teams to manage industry level data needs across the enterprise and enable competitive benchmarking of our portfolio.
- Explore new internal and external data sources/capabilities and build use cases from scratch to drive growth
