Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement automation workflows within the SIEM platform to streamline security processes, including alert triage, incident response, and data enrichment.
- Collaborate with security engineers to integrate various security tools and technologies into the SIEM environment, enhancing its capabilities.
- Analyze security data from multiple sources to identify patterns, anomalies, and potential security incidents.
- Create custom dashboards, reports, and visualizations to provide actionable insights to SOC analysts and management.
- Work closely with the incident response team to develop automated response playbooks for common security incidents.
- Collaborate with threat intelligence teams to integrate threat feeds and indicators of compromise (IoCs) into the SIEM platform.
- Continuously monitor the effectiveness of automation workflows, making adjustments and improvements as needed.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of SIEM content, including correlation rules and alerts.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices in SIEM automation and data analysis.
- Participate in incident response efforts, providing expertise in data analysis to support investigations.
- Provide training and guidance to junior analysts on SIEM usage, automation techniques, and data analysis.
Job Skill:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field. • Proven experience (2+ years) in SIEM administration, automation, and data analysis.
- Strong knowledge of SIEM platforms, such as MS Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight, or ELK Stack. • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation tasks.
- Experience with security orchestration and automation platforms (SOAR) is a plus.
- Familiarity with security concepts, threat intelligence, and incident response processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive insights from complex datasets.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
