Job Description:
- The MDM Analyst II role reports to the Deputy Manager – MDM, and supports end-to-end master data product maintenance processes within the Electrical Sector.
- He/she will be responsible for providing product data to Eaton’s ES distributors, data warehouses and applications across the globe.
- He/she will be responsible with working with Informatica P360 modifying / building syndication templates to support data syndication – the process of distributing product information directly to a channel partner system.
- This will include gathering requirements, technical analysis, and the technical implementation of those requirements.
- In addition with direct syndication, he/she will be an expert in all data syndicates, specializing in Electrical Data standards globally, such as IDEA Connector (CAS/PAS), Trade Service, ETIM, CDW, CNET, Gfk Etilize, Home Depot, Amazon, Retail, Etc.
Requirements:
- Any Graduate/PG, Diploma/ BE computer/IT, MCA, BCA
- Years and area of experience required : 2-5 years
- Technical knowledge on Informatica, XML
- Excellent presentation skills
Responsibility:
- Manage all facets of data syndication and P360 from a functional standpoint
- Have an understanding of technical concepts, data flow architecture and the ability to communicate technical concepts
- Must have worked on Informatica Product Information Management or similar tools and must possess experience on data syndication.
- Strong understanding of technical concepts of MDM architecture and data transfers
- Strong knowledge on sql and has worked on complex analytical requirements.
- Participate and provide your feedbacks in MDM SIT, UAT, Production support testing of new syndicates
- Must have knowledge of all the Repository configuration, import mapping, Export development, WEB definitions, Rest API, P360 database.
- Must have knowledge of IDQ for creation of data quality rules.
- Skills like business analysis, master data management, project management, user acceptance testing, operational delivery management.
- Develop detailed SOP and training documentation
- Have responsibility for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of product master data
- Actively contribute to data-focused projects that require a data governance and quality point-of-view
- Ability to present details of complex data quality or workflow issues for internal review.
- Flexible attitude to work with and the willingness to learn new skills when required.
- Ability to build strong relationships with our employees, partners and customers.
- Coordinate efforts with the rest of the MDM team to quickly resolve data quality issues distributors and syndicates are encountering.
