Job Description:
- 4+ years of experience working in Data Governance or Data Management experience within a global CPG (Consumer Packaged Good) company or similar industry, general understanding of data governance concepts and processes
- Strong data management background who understands data, how to ingest data, proper data use/consumption, data quality, data curation and stewardship
- Ability to partner with both business and technical subject matter experts to ensure standardization of operational information and execution of enterprise-wide data governance policies and procedures are defined and implemented
- Informatica (EDC, Axon, IDQ, Reference 360, collibra, Alation or any data governance tools), Intermediate – Advanced Excel experience preferred
- Basic SQL knowledge and experience working with Visualization BI tools (eg, Power BI, Tableau, etc)
- DataBricks basics preferred
- Advanced data analytical skills, including identification, interpretation and documentation of data patterns, standards, and quality rules
- Strong communication skills and Excel proficiency, including experience profiling with Excel
- Experience researching, validating, profiling and cataloging datasets
- Ability to own sub-tasks of a project with little supervision
