Job Description:
- Creation and maintenance of data sources for various use-cases which will power business reports and internal working.
- Deliver effective presentations of findings and recommendations to multiple levels of stakeholders, creating visual displays of quantitative information.
- Develop and automate reports, iteratively build and prototype dashboards to provide insights at scale, solving for analytical needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand their business needs, and formulate and complete end-to-end analysis that includes data gathering, analysis, ongoing scaled deliverables, and presentations.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of Prodigal data structures and metrics, advocating for changes where needed for both products and business activity, as well as external marketing spend trends
- Mentor other junior analysts
Requirements:
- New grad from Tier 1 or Tier 2 College OR 1 year of prior data analytics experience.
- A degree in Engineering, Statistics, Math, Economics, Physics, or other quantitative field (advanced degrees are a plus)
- Experience implementing statistical analysis and data wrangling using Excel, Python, SQL, and Tableau, with knowledge of PySpark being advantageous.
- Prior experience with Databricks is also a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to inform managers and other stakeholders of results.
- Experience in translating business questions into an analytical framework and interpreting the results for strategic decision-making.
- Previous experience mentoring other individuals.
