Job Description:
- Collaborate with senior data engineers and data scientists to understand data requirements and objectives.
- Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient data pipelines.
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into data lakes or data warehouses.
- Perform data cleaning, validation, and preprocessing tasks to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries for data analysis and reporting purposes.
- Explore and implement new tools and technologies to enhance data processing capabilities.
- Document data pipelines, workflows, and processes for knowledge sharing and future reference.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of databases and data management concepts.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Familiarity with data modeling, schema design, and database optimization techniques.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
