Job Description:
- The Data Analyst Intern will be responsible for basic crawling of websites, API calls, and requests, data manipulation using Python libraries and ensuring data integrity; maintaining and managing the current database; performing statistical and qualitative data analysis; modeling data with the goal of discovering useful business insights and creating reports with business insights generated during data analysis.
- The position requires robust data mining and analytical abilities, a flair for number crunching, and a creative approach to problem-solving coupled with strong interpersonal skills.
Requirements:
- Strong command of Python programming language
- A strong fundamental understanding of basic statistics
- You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining various cloud and on-prem data pipelines
- Work with large, complex data sets.
- Conduct end-to-end data analysis that includes data gathering and requirements specification, processing, analysis, and delivering the necessary output with documentation
- Familiarity with the following is required: Selenium/BeautifulSoup/Playwright, Pandas, Requests, LXML, JSON parsing and processing, MySQL
- Familiarity with the Linux environment is preferred.
- Should be a fast learner and a self-starter, open to learning new tools
- Flexible and adaptable to change and able to multitask
