Job Description:
- The Business Intelligence Analyst role will support JLL Global HR BI and Data team initiatives by partnering with HR and business leaders to provide critical interpretation of human capital data, resolve complex data requests, create leading and innovative analytical solutions, and communicate information and insights in a meaningful and powerful voice.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of data analysis experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a field of Mathematics, Operations Research, Social/Behavioral Science, Statistics, or Computer Science.
- Proven work experience creating and delivering reports/queries through an enterprise reporting system.
- Previous related work experience preferably in Human Capital Analytics or employee related research.
- Ability to analyse large datasets, detect and correct errors, interpret and simplify results to various audiences.
- Ability to transform complex analyses into a simple story.
- Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to effectively address any issue in collaboration with others as appropriate; ability to proactively anticipate problems and opportunities and confidence to use initiative to pursue solutions.
- Advanced knowledge of a visualisation tool, Tableau Desktop and Server preferred. Certifications in Tableau a plus.
- Extensive knowledge with SQL for data extraction & manipulation.
- Experience designing and developing business facing dashboards and data visualizations in BI platforms.
- Familiarity with one other programming language preferred (R, Python preferred).
- Excellent customer relationship skills and ability to listen and communicate well at all levels of the company.
- Great attention to detail with solution-oriented attitude that focuses on continuous improvement and can navigate around ambiguity.
- Good organization and prioritisation skills to facilitate working across multiple projects.
- Ability to clearly articulate problems and solutions, translate complex into simple.
- High degree of professional judgment, professional maturity, integrity, credibility.
Responsibility:
- Create, standardize, schedule and publish reports and analysis for delivery to HR stakeholders and other customers within the organisation.
- Analyze and translate data and trends into insights, compile and share analysis with stakeholders.
- Influence and implement self-service strategy and promotion of dashboards across the organization.
- Recognise and pursue research opportunities to solve meaningful business problems and communicate findings using visualizations and effective storytelling techniques.
- Be a data and analytics champion, providing ideas, research reviews, and innovative thinking.
- Perform data discovery to understand data values and relationships in new data sources.
- Partner with data analysts and IT to develop, structure and enhance the enterprise HR data warehouse.
- Provide project management support to HR BI and Data Manager.
