Job Description:
- We are looking for a Master Data Management (MDM) Engineer for the Enterprise Data Organization to build and maintain MDM data products across multiple data domains that will support key data consolidation and governance initiatives.
- The candidate will be required to possess strong technical, functional and collaborative skills to be successful in a multi stakeholder environment.
Requirements:
- Four-year degree in Information Systems, Finance / Mathematics, Computer Science or similar
- 2-4 years of total IT experience
- 1-2 years of Data Management experience with 1-2 years of development experience in EBX
- Experience working in Tibco EBX above version 5.9.x and above.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in EBX is required.
- Creation of Data models, simple workflows on EBX
- Have concepts in Data Governance and implementation through EBX workflows.
- Decent skills to work on Linux or Windows platforms.
- Ability to write SQL queries.
- Performing Unit testing of EBX work products, Supporting QA and UAT testing.
- Knowledge of basic concepts in Data Quality and Reference Data management
- Experience in Java-J2EE would be considered a plus.
- SQL and / or Snowflake experience would be a plus
- Experience with Azure Devops or Github is a plus.
- Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus.
Responsibility:
- Design, develop and maintain MDM solutions and data products on EBX.
- Understand requirements from business stewards from across various brands to develop and support stewardship workflows in EBX.
- Work with product vendors (Tibco) for various technical troubleshooting, product patches.
- Ability to work with Product Analyst and QA resources to create development documents; understand UAT acceptance criterion.
- Communicate with multiple stakeholders within the team.
- Develop semantic models, workflows, configure EBX UI and unit test; document test results.
- Seek knowledge from senior engineers, ask questions, and seek feedback to improve skills and understanding.
