Job Description:
- As a senior data systems analyst, you will work with data engineers, data visualization architects, developers, and users to implement marketing platform, tooling, and systems requirements.
- You will gain exposure to all facets of technology and data, from strategic and executive development of GTM measurement to implementation of requirements via modern DevOps processes.
- In this role, you will have the opportunity to translate business priorities into scalable solutions, improving operational efficiency in Marketing and Sales.
Requirements:
- 3+ years relevant work experience, including experience in a data-driven technology business or company with a sophisticated data stack
- Technically skilled to work with complex datasets using advanced Excel/SQL/R/Python or other query tools to review and test data, as well as describe logic for data engineering teams
- Experience with Cognos / Tableau / Dundas or other data visualization tools to facilitate requirements communication of underlying data development
- Deep critical thinking skills and curiosity to pursue open-ended problems via data
- Strong presentation skills and ability to effectively communicate complicated concepts to non-technical employees and leadership
- Business acumen with the ability to develop data-driven business recommendations
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize with a proven ability to meet tight deadlines.
Responsibility:
- Gathering input from executives, users, and other stakeholders to build a strategic roadmap and prioritized set of development requirements.
- Building a deep understanding of marketing data systems and connection points
- Understanding the full data flow for all marketing metrics and data elements, from system generation to insertion of business logic and dimensions to usage by data scientists, analysts, and business users
- Managing complex projects spanning teams across Marketing and CIO
- Communicating insights to IBM leadership.
