Job Description:
- The Item Data Analyst supports the Buying Team, with merchandising tasks
- The IDA role is to Create Items, Item Data Maintenance, Vendor communications and Maintain Workflow Tool
- The position requires frequent communication with Buying team as well as with vendors, distribution centers and stores
Requirements:
- University or college degree or commensurate retail experience
- Preferred 1-2 years related experience in a merchandise capacity
- Excellent in computer skills including MS Word and Excel Google Suites
- Sense of urgency flexibility ability to multitask
- Willingness to learn
- Detail oriented
- Good organizational skills
- Retails knowledge/Experience
- Excellent in communication skills
- Problem Solving Ability
- Analytical Skills
- Item Domain Expertise
- Knowledge on Excel G-Suite
Responsibility:
- Manage item set up and maintenance:
- Execute Item Set up, including executing any changes, re-classes and re-codes
- Item Maintenance
- Request new department/ MFG
- Communication and follow up with vendors/Asst. Buyers for questions and/or outstanding information
- Execution of Price and Cost Changes
- Execution of RTVs and Store Transfers
- Maintain workflow tool
- Update Operational trackers for the business areas
- Actively Participate in Projects/Initiatives
- Reviewing styles Online as part of Ecom Audit
