Job Description:
- Be responsible for the preparation and publication of management P&L (plan and actual) on a regular basis
- Track revenue and cost metrics on a regular basis
- Maintain a database of financial metrics of the company
- Proficient with excel, google sheets, powerpoint, data visualisation softwares
- Work with large data sets to perform various analysis using relevant tools like python, Excel
- Write SQL queries to extract data from internal databases for adhoc analysis
- Assist the team in undertaking a detailed analysis of P&L performance and present the findings to senior management
- Assist the team in preparing detailed annual operating plan, monthly forecasts and department level budgets
- Interact with the operating teams to understand variances in operating metrics
- Variance analysis from plan for different cost and revenue items
