Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines, ensuring data integrity, reliability, and timeliness.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Optimize and fine-tune our data storage and retrieval mechanisms, with an emphasis on performance and security.
- Stay updated on emerging data technologies and best practices in the telecom industry, and drive their adoption within our team.
- Oversee the integration of various data sources, ensuring seamless data flow across systems.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior data engineering staff.
Job Skill:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a data engineer, with at least 2 years specifically within the telecom industry.
- Proficiency in big data tools such as Hadoop, Spark, and PySpark.
- Python.
- Strong expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Cassandra.
- Familiarity with data pipeline and workflow management tools like Apache NiFi, Airflow, or Luigi.
- Skilled in cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure, and their data-related services.
- In-depth understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing principles, and data modeling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
