Job Description:
- As a member of the Data Science & Innovation team within our dynamic Business Transformation Office, you’ll be crafting cutting-edge AI capabilities for Cisco’s supply chain.
- Your role is pivotal in developing cloud-based AI products, leveraging a rich toolbox of techniques from NLP, Machine Learning, and Optimization to address pressing business questions.
- You’ll design scalable decision support systems that empower strategic growth and enhance our supply chain operations.
Requirements:
- Advanced degree (PhD or Master’s) in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in coding with general-purpose programming languages, with a strong emphasis on Python/R and a thorough understanding of programming abstraction concepts.
- Deep knowledge of Machine Learning algorithms and Statistical Modeling, alongside a proven ability to design and architect scalable ML solutions adept at handling real-world data intricacies.
- Well-versed in data manipulation and analysis, with a firm grasp of algorithms and data structures, contributing to a robust software development lifecycle.
- 1-3 years of work experience in an analytics-related field
- Prior experience with projects in supply chain, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Demonstrated practical experience in developing and implementing cloud-based AI products, leveraging both open-source and commercial solvers.
- Comprehensive understanding of MLOps processes, including deploying, monitoring, and maintaining machine learning models in production environments, ensuring best practices are met.
- Demonstrated flexibility by contributing to a variety of data science projects as needed, prioritizing those with the highest business impact.
- Deep understanding of solving operations research problems, particularly adept in constrained linear programming
- Experience with creating Generative AI applications, demonstrating the ability to innovate and automate through generative language models.
- Proven experience in architecting and building cloud-based AI products, with a strong grasp of cloud services and infrastructure that underpin scalable, robust AI solutions
- Experience with database management, including proficiency in both SQL and NoSQL databases
