Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement scalable and efficient data processing systems using big data technologies, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, identify opportunities for data acquisition, and design appropriate data models.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration solutions to efficiently collect, process, and store large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
- Optimise data processing and storage for improved performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
- Perform data analysis, data profiling, and statistical modeling to derive valuable insights and support data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to design and implement data visualization solutions that effectively communicate complex data insights.
- Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data validation, cleansing, and transformation processes.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner to minimise disruptions.
- Document technical specifications, system configurations, and data processing workflows.

Job Skill:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Proven experience working of 2+ years as a Big Data Engineer or a similar role, with a focus on data processing, data warehousing, and analytics.
- Strong proficiency in big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and related frameworks.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data modeling techniques.
