Job Description:
- This is for the position in the Consulting & Corporates division at Acuity, one of the fastest growing segments within the firm.
- It offers an opportunity to independently manage & lead projects related to secondary research (qualitative or quantitative research projects) .
- Experience in corporate strategy and consulting research is an added advantage
Requirements:
- 0-7 years of experience in the similar profile
- MBA from Tier 1 college / CA/ CFA, B.Tech, B.Com or an equivalent degree
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Structuring the deliverables & developing new capabilities
- Demonstrate strength and experience in client relationship building
- Should be well versed with MS Office suite specially Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point
- Knowledge of databases such as Factset, Capital IQ , Data Stream and Thomson Eikon would be an added advantage
- Ability to achieve individual & team targets
- Attitude to learn and gel up with the team
- Flexibility as per the work /client project requirements
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking skills
- Rotational shift – APAC / UK / US
Responsibility:
- Process: Rapid research – data collation and presentation from databases or Internet search
- Understand client requirement, scope projects, manage end-to-end execution and delivery (work allocation, research, analysis, synthesized insights, quality control, delivery)
- Qualitative Research: Conducting secondary research for various clients on varied industries to understand the industry dynamics, determine the market size, examining emerging trends & making forecasts regarding future tendencies
- Ad-hoc requests across industries include critical industry or market analysis, company analysis, financial analysis, competitive benchmarking, opportunity assessments, country or economic reports, executive biographies, topical research, use case analysis, among others Scrutinizing the market value and volume information of different products & making cross[1]country comparisons for obtaining market insights
- Quantitative Research: o Conducting secondary research across industries to understand company’s financial position, growth drivers, cost breakdown, ownership analysis, segmental analysis, industry KPIs, historical trends & forecasts, etc.
- Adhoc requests would include company valuation, M&A research, competitive benchmarking, industry research, market sizing, country and industry regulatory research, financial fact packs, case studies, financial due diligence, among others
